On July 10, 2017 Instal-Lublin has signed an agreement with Budimex S.A., Técnicas Reunidas S.A.- Turów s.c. under which will provide and install heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in the newly built power unit at Turów Power Plant.
Contract works will commence in October this year. Their completion is scheduled for May 2018.
The construction of new turbine unit at Turów Power Plant is carried out by a consortium of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe, Budimex S.A. and Tecnicas Reunidas S.A.
According to the plans, the 496 MW block will replace the three oldest power units: No. 8, 9 and 10 and will be brown-coal fired.
